A Bit About Therapy
Therapy offers the opportunity to build insight into how our experiences have shaped our habits, relationships, and self-concept. Increasing self-knowledge, although painful at times, empowers us to become more active participants in our lives, choosing pathways that align with our values and increase our self-confidence and agency. Furthermore, therapy enables us to experience difficult emotions in a safe and validating environment. Expressing emotions freely within the therapeutic relationship allows us to gain comfort with vulnerability and create deeper, more meaningful connections with ourselves and others.
